Independent Sales Representative – Automotive Products

Stud And Hub Pros is a growing company in the automotive tools industry. Our patented Stud Kleen products help auto and truck service stations clean wheel studs and hubs faster, safer, and better than traditional methods. We’re looking for motivated Independent Sales Representatives to demo our tools, win accounts, and grow recurring revenue.

The Opportunity

  • Position: Independent Contractor (100% Commission-Based)
  • Location: Remote / local field sales (U.S. applicants only)
  • Schedule: Flexible part-time or full-time. Best results come when available at 9 AM and/or 2 PM for product demos at shops.

Compensation

  • Pay Type: 100% commission-only (no base salary).
  • OTE (On-Target Earnings): $4,000–$8,000/month; top performers exceed $10K+. OTE is based on sales performance and is not guaranteed.

Tiered Commission Structure (monthly net sales):

Sales Tier Commission
First $10,000 15% of net profits
$10,000–$20,000 18% of net profits
$20,000+ 20% of net profits
  • Profit Sharing: Reps earning $5,000+ in monthly sales qualify for a quarterly 1% profit-sharing pool, distributed by individual contribution.
  • Residuals: Replacement part reorders = recurring monthly income.
  • Payouts: Biweekly (W-9 required). Adjustments may apply for returns, refunds, or chargebacks.

What You’ll Do

  • Demo Stud Kleen products to auto and truck service stations
  • Close initial sales and upsell additional products and accessories
  • Build long-term relationships for repeat orders and referrals
  • Follow up consistently to expand accounts and income
  • Join training calls to sharpen your pitch and closing skills

Our tools sell themselves once shops see them in action. The demo is your foot in the door—it earns immediate trust and proves the value right away. From there, it’s about upselling additional products, driving repeat sales, and cementing long-term accounts. Reps who work the process consistently see strong, recurring income.

Demo Products

As a rep, you’ll start with one of our two main demo products (you don’t need both to begin):

  • Automotive Stud Kleen – Our most popular tool for passenger vehicle studs.
  • Truck Stud Kleen – Designed for commercial trucks; fewer sales needed to reach the same profit due to higher margins.

Many reps start with Automotive since it’s the easiest to demo. Truck offers bigger margins if you want to target service centers working on heavy vehicles. For live demos, you may also want an impact wrench (½” drive, battery powered) to run the tool quickly and show its efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ year of sales experience (B2B preferred)
  • Comfort engaging shop owners, managers, and blue-collar teams
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and performance-driven
  • Automotive or manufacturing knowledge is a plus (not required)

Important Note

To demo effectively, reps purchase a reduced-cost demo kit. This small investment pays for itself quickly once sales start flowing. More importantly, the demo kit is your gateway to building trust and closing deals— it gets you inside shops, starts conversations, and sets you up for ongoing upsells and reorders.
